Narrow defeat against strong opposition

Another very good performance against a Div 1 side ended in another narrow defeat.  The only goal of the game came midway through the first half, the scorer confirming afterwards it was only the second goal of his career!  He took it well, flicking it in from an angle after the initial shot had been saved.  Not for the first time this season Craig in goal kept us in the game with a series of saves, and towards the end Kieran Dempsey almost crowned an excellent debut with a goal from a short corner, only a fine stop on the line from a defender preventing it from going in.  If we continue to play as well as this the results will surely come...
